2024 Symposium of the Frontiers in Biomedical Magnetic Resonance
Introduction
Dear all,
The Symposium of the Frontiers in Biomedical Magnetic Resonance, organized by the Taiwan Magnetic Resonance Society (TMRS), is a leading event that brings together top minds in the field of magnetic resonance in Taiwan. On May 10-11, 2024, researchers, academics, and industry professionals will gather at the Chang Gung International Convention Center in Taoyuan for this event. This time, the Symposium will be co-hosted by the Taiwan Metabolomics Society (TMS), underscoring the synergies between magnetic resonance and metabolomics
One highlight of this event is the impressive lineup of international plenary speakers, each renowned in their respective fields, including Professor Daniel B. Vigneron (UCSF) (Link to Prof. Vigneron's Lab), Prof. Jae Mo Park (UTSW) (Link to Dr. Park's Profile), and Professor Kayvan R. Keshari, Ph.D. (MSKCC) (Link to Prof. Keshari's Lab). In addition to the international luminaries, we will show the depth of local expertise, with over 10 invited speakers who are leaders in the magnetic resonance and metabolomics community in Taiwan. Their diverse perspectives and contributions will enrich the discussions and foster collaboration on both national and global scales. The event will be divided into two days, and the three main themes of this symposium include: (1) Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy, (2) Magnetic Resonance Imaging Techniques, (3) Magnetic Resonance Metabolomics.
To encourage young researchers (students, assistants, and postdoctoral fellows) to excel in their research in nuclear magnetic resonance, a poster competition will be held in the afternoon of May 10th, 2024, with awards presented at the closing ceremony of the conference. We welcome you to actively participate in the poster competition, share your research results, and complete online registration and submission of abstracts before April 12th. We look forward to the participation of all members.
We sincerely invite researchers, scholars, and professionals from the industry to participate in the symposium.
Sincerely yours,
Sue Shih-Che
